Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - CISSP review
The copy I ordered is an older version but it has a lot of the same content. After reviewing the book, I seeked classroom type training on the subject. The instructor used the same book stating it is the best out there to prepare for the CISSP certification. A lot of material to cover, and the book provides for easy reading.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Comprehensive, but very dry
If you want to make sure you know the material before you take the exam, this book is very good. However, the presentation of the material is very dry, and the CD-ROM materials only work on Windows (I'm a Mac/Linux guy). Some people may say that the material is extremely boring to begin with, but I have found other books that cover the same topics in a relatively more interesting way.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Information overload...

I used this book as a reference guide for when I felt I didn't know a certain subject as deep as I needed to. It is a good resource if you want to drop the money on it. I recommend Mike Meyers Passport to CISSP in addition to help you prepare for a tough exam. I have to give this book a positive rating as I did pass the exam. Good luck.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Tough to get through, but worth it!
I recently received word from ISC2 that I passed the CISSP exam. I'll be the first to admit that I test very well (used 2.25 of the 6 hours for the test), but I have to give credit to Shon Harris for this excellent book which helped me bring together all the information needed for this exam.

It's definitely true to read people describe the exam as a "mile wide and inch deep", so it shouldn't come as any great surprise to find this book is huge (~1,000 pages), and while it is technical ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Really is "All-In-One", but you can't be an imbecile
I am a 25 year old infosec dude and found this book to be the only one necessary. I did practice exams online after reading through the ~1000 pages Shon Harris has put together. It reads well, and is not entirely boring. I think that anyone can pass the exam with just this book, but you can't be an imbecile. I have written exploit code before, researched vulnerabilities, and have been messing around with hacking since the 90's when I was in high school. So, many of the technical stuff I knew very ...
