Rating: - Great addition to a great game for adults!
When you start repeating too many cards in the original set, get this expansion pack and mix it in with the original cards. Hours of fun!

This expansion comes with a new pack of cards that are mostly of the form ___ and ___. This may sound like a good idea, but it is clear that the designers didn't really think it through. Some of the red (noun) cards are simply poor combinations (e.g. "Whips & Chains"). For some red cards, there was absolutely no need to make it a combination (e.g. "The Atlantic & Pacific"). Rating: - Bad Expansion to a Great Game
We love the original "Apples to Apples" game. We bought the Expansion 1 set to go with our original game since we wanted more cards to go with it. The Expansion cards have "________and________" for the subject titles and I think that is the reason we disliked it so much. We didn't have any great laughing moments with these cards. It says to include it with the original game. I just don't care for the card format to do that.

I sent this game to my friend over in the Netherlands and he absolutely loved it! Such a fun game to play with your friends. Now they have a new board game to play besides Chinese Checkers.

We needed an expansion box for the game, which we already owned. The expansion box simply made it more fun and made it easier to play longer. This is one of the most fun games ever! You'll quickly find out who is literal (and we were surprised by that) and who is more fun and light hearted with answers.
