Rating: - Included solution kills optics, plastic
As an ultrasonic cleaner, it works great. But be VERY careful when using the included cleaning solution powder. When used as the directions suggest, it will quickly strip off anti-reflective coatings and cloud/fog many transparent plastics. It's killed some rather expensive items before I caught that.

Works as well as everyone said it would - several friends have tried it and want their own. I use a little dish soap in the water (just a drop) and it really makes things sparkle.

Does what it says, is affordable, and useful in our home (jewelry, watches, eyeglass frames). Just use caution when trying to clean inexpensive, coated metal that is painted or plated or whatever (not sure what to call it)... it WILL remove the outer layer of "silver" using just water and a few drops of dish soap!

I love this cleaner. I have tons of lia sophia jewelry and you are not supposed to use chemicals to clean it - I use a drop of jewelry cleaner with hot water and my jewelry sparkles like new.
